A picture sent to The Courier Mail shows the mold growing on roof panels in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. The Australian Medical Association warns that mold can exacerbate secondary infections. A Queensland health spokesperson states that the mold is believed to have been caused by ongoing rain and humidity. Queensland Premier Steven Miles confirmed that the moldy panels will be replaced.
